Agent Provocateur

I am a convert to the corset! I go weak for a waspie! Yes, I was once a virgin in getting tied up in such matters, but now I have graduated to vixen status though my Agent Provocateur revelation!

A well fitted corset makes the difference between a good figure and a great shaped silhouette. My first encounter with corsetry came when I visited the historic Agent Provocateur store in Broadwick Street in the heart Soho, London.

After changing into the gorgeous bras, knickers and suspenders, which I had every confidence in wearing, I was offered a corset to try on. Having never worn one, I was a little apprehensive, and I really didn't think I was the kind of girl that would or could ever wear one.

For a start, I didn't have a clue how to put one on! The AP shop assistant was only too willing to help me out. Her advice was:

"Before donning the corset, the back should be evenly and loosely laced approximately 4 inches from each side. Place the unclipped Corset around the body ensuring the lacing is at the back, and then fasten the front hook and eye clasps at the front. Pull in the lacing. Try to ensure an even gap from top to bottom. Do not pull in too much at once as this can cause irreparable damage to the Corset.

The Corset should be both comfortable and supportive"

I could not believe how I felt and how sexy I looked! My waist was pinched in to a lovely hourglass shape and my cleavage was positively voluptuous! I felt as if I was being hugged upright... I actually enjoyed the feeling of gentle restriction, which is something I never expected! After a few wears the corsets adjust to your body shape and you can pull them even tighter and trim down the laces.

I bought the Gwendoline corset there and then (I wear this both over a white shirt and as foundation wear lingerie!) and have since invested in the Diva corset, which slims the silhouette and nips in the waist just so.

So, my advise is this; don't be afraid to give something new a try, you never know, you could stir up some passion in more ways than one!
