The AP Agents uniform made its debut in 1994 when Agent Provocateur opened its first boutique in Soho, London. And since then the pink housecoat style uniform has become a popular piece in itself.
The secret to its success? You have to be an AP agent to be able to wear it! The uniform is based on a 1950’s housecoat design that a shop girl would have worn on the perfumery counter in a high end department store or a wife might have worn at home to do the housework. The dress was originally designed by Vivienne Westwood.
The uniform design is timeless and stylish; it’s practically allowing the Agent to reveal a sneak of a bra strap, a flash of a stocking top or suspender strap without exposing too much.
